Our club has been a Charter member of the Cowboy Mounted Shooting Association since 1996.
At that time there were only four Mounted Shooting Clubs east of Arizona. The State of Illinois was the first, Texas had two and then came us Okies. We were the first Mounted Shooting Club in Oklahoma.
Since our club began we have strived to introduce the sport of Mounted Shooting to every corner of the State. Our goal is to promote the Sport of Mounted Shooting, good horsemanship, and gun safety. We look forward to meeting new people, hosting many more World Points, and State Mounted Shooting matches. Join us for the fun, and excitemnet of Cowboy Mounted Shooting.
Cowboy Mounted Shooting Association is the Fastest Growing Equestrian Sport in the Nation. Mounted contestants compete in this fast action timed event using two .45 caliber single action revolvers each loaded with five rounds of specially prepared blank ammunitions.
